In my sculptures, graphics or drawings, the printed word is never far away. On the one hand, it is a form of upcycling for the mass of discarded publications. On the other hand, it has an active function in my visual stories. Mainly scientific literature serves as a cold solid backdrop for more poetic observations. Often you can discover that a book title or piece of text was selected for a reason.​​
